Career Pathways Participant
Kathryn Ricks and her husband both worked at the LEVI factory for nine and a half years. When the plant closed, and they were laid off, Kathryn looked for other opportunities and found Career Pathways. After having helped take care of her ailing father, she decided that she wanted to become a nurse. Kathryn wanted to start with the CNA program so she could work while going through the LPN training. She is a wife, mother, and care-giver for her father; even with all of these life challenges, Kathryn still graduated with a 4.0.
